About Us

Welcome to the Vermillion Area Dance Organization (VADO)
Studio located at 19A South Plum Street, a donation by Sanford Vermillion.

Studio VADO is dedicated to the world of dance. Its purpose is to promote and support creation and expression through dance, and to expand the audience to which dance is made available. VADO is also dedicated to making dance accessible to everyone in the Vermillion area.

Scholarship Class

VADO is once again offering a scholarship class! This year the class will be Contemporary Ballet and is open to anyone age 8 and up who is enrolled in either a VADO ballet, modern, or lyrical class. This class is free! The only cost associated with the class will be the recital costume. All rehearsals will be on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 PM beginning December 4. You can sign up for this class at the front desk.

Parent Visitation Week

Monday, December 5th through Thursday, December 8th is Parent Visitation Week at VADO. Parents are welcome to come experience their childs dance class during their regular dance class time during this week.

Save on Dance Wear
Tap, Jazz, and Ballet shoes are available for purchase at a reduced price at the Studio. Tights are also for sale at the studio. Leotard/skirt exchange will begin this fall! Anyone wanting to donate unwanted leos or skirts can drop them off so they’re available to all who need them.
